About

The Simi Valley Veterans Foundation officially formed as a 501(c)(3) in September of 2021 as a result of the Simi Valley Veterans Task Force’s exploration on how to provide greater assistance to our community’s heroes ranging from servicemember outreach to transportation. With a long-term vision of centralizing veteran services at a permanent location, the foundation was set up to additionally support our various veteran service organizations in the community as their partner.

The Board of Directors brings together several veteran service organizations, business and nonprofit leaders, and elected officials from across our valley. The bylaws of the foundation ensure that our local veteran service organizations have seats at the table, so that our foundation knows how to best support.
